The Prayer Lifeline

Calling On God Is Not a Gamble.

In the popular U.S. TV Game Show, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, you can call a lifeline for help when you’re unsure of an answer. There’s no guarantee that they’ll have the right answer. But you hope they will so that you can advance to a bigger jackpot.

Prayer is our lifeline to our creator. The difference is, He knows all things. If we are uncertain of anything, we can ask the Lord God Almighty and be confident in His response. Calling on God is not a gamble!

Through prayer we get to know God, develop intimacy in our relationship with Him and learn to pray His will—His intention and plans for humanity and the earth.

As we come in agreement with God, we advance His will for us personally and collectively.

In this 30-Day CHAYIL Glory Prayer Challenge, we are united in prayer to praise God for His omnipotence and petition Him to intervene and restore order to the chaos and hopelessness streaming across our world.

We can be confident in God’s response to our prayers because of His promises:

  1. Ask and I will answer – Matthew 7:7
  2. Blessing in unity – Psalm 133:1-3
  3. Restoration and Healing – 2 Chronicles 7:14

The power of prayer is activated as we: pray to the One True God, pray according to His will and believe in God’s ability to perform what we pray. “According to your faith, be it unto you” (Matthew 9:29).

Join other believers around the world on Friday, August 18, 2018 for a 24-hour prayer and fast to culminate the CHAYIL Glory 30-Day Prayer Challenge. Then send us your praise reports at Chayil@chayilglory.org
